Chris Gammell (1939 - 2007) was a noted photographer and traveller who wrote and published numerous railway books for the serious enthusiast. A professional railwayman before he entered publishing, he was renown for his encyclopaedic knowledge of railway matters throughout the world. He insisted on using Kodachrome 25 wherever he could. All slides are fully captioned and offered with copyright. A good mix of portrait and moving shots.
