The Buyer's Premium for SRA Postal Auctions is 15% of the hammer price and subject to VAT at the standard rate, total 18%.

Postal Auctions

In normal times, Sheffield Railwayana Postal Sales are held after the main GCR Stoneleigh auctions at three-monthly intervals and include a wide variety of railwayana and printed material of all types.

Lots will be illustrated on this website together with descriptive text. We recommend that bidders view the catalogue here. Print versions of the catalogues are not being provided at the moment due to the Coronavirus Emergency, but a PDF version of these catalogues will be available for download from this website.

Those who are unable to view the postal auction on line, may register with us to receive a printed copy of the text for future auctions, when we are able to distribute printed catalogues again.
Future Postal Auction catalogues will only be posted to those without internet access who have requested a printed copy.

Please make a note of your bidding number which is shown on the address label of the printed catalogues, when sent. You will need to use this to bid in any future postal auctions. If you don't have a bidding number, please contact us to register and obtain one.
